The Hotel Diamond is a brand new luxury hotel in one of the best areas of Amsterdam, the Leidseplein, also known as the theatre district of the city – vibes & crowds are quite unique. It is within 10 minutes from the Dam Square.
The new built hotel has retained the original heritage Heineken Hoek pub, giving it a more contemporary twist – excellent food & drinks. Amazing large windows overlooking the Leidseplein Square. There is also a sleek Steak House on the first floor with some more venues coming up in 2025.
Rooms are not the largest but very well appointed with all luxury amenities. Excellent bedding and bathrooms.
Overall, service is solid, attracting both locals and tourists as well as in-house guests. You will find all pricing excellent value.

Location: it is right in the heart of the city! Its near every attraction, everything’s at a walkable distance! Room: the room was really well equipped and comfortable. The bed was one of the comfiest beds we have ever tried.
Room service: it felt like the room is new after they cleaned it! Ive always had a problem with room service at other hotels, but this one was extremely satisfactory. Friendly personal
Disadvantages: was a bit difficult to find with the car navi, realised later the parking is somewhat far, especially with luggage and the parking was expensive

Hotel The Diamond in Amsterdam was een fantastische ervaring. Wij keken al heel lang uit naar de opening van Diamond, en konden eindelijk van deze nieuwe parel genieten! Vanaf het warme welkom tot de luxe en brandschone deluxe kamer, alles was perfect. De centrale locatie op het Leidseplein is ideaal, en ondanks de levendige omgeving was onze kamer heerlijk stil. Het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en zorgde dat het ons aan niets ontbrak. Luxe, comfort en topservice – wij komen zeker terug! Bedankt voor alles Team Diamond 🙂
Wij hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad in The Diamond. Mooie kamers en vriendelijk personeel. Fijn centraal gelegen waardoor je overal snel en makkelijk kunt komen. Echt een aanrader, en we komen zeker nog een keertje terug.

Mooie ingerichte kamers, mooi hotel op een TOP locatie in Amsterdam. Het ontbijt in de heinekenhoek was zeer uitgebreid en lekker. De combinatie Heinekenhoek/hotel is perfect!
